The Boathouse at Disney Springs: A Disney World Dining Review

| | |

Looking for “something different“? Guess what?! You found it right here in The Boathouse at Disney Springs: A Disney World Dining Review.

The BOATHOUSE in DISNEY SPRINGS has a lot to offer: great food, waterfront dining, dream boats AND it is the first of several new restaurants at The Landing, a new neighborhood that will be part of Disney Springs at Disney World Resort. The BOATHOUSE is an upscale waterfront dining experience where you can feast on fresh seafood, a raw bar, steaks and chops while enjoying a display of rare dream boats from the 1930s – 1950s.

Guided Tour

What sets The Boathouse at Disney Sprigs apart from other restaurants are the guided tours. But wait, this isn’t just any guided tour, these are super cool, retro cruises in vintage Amphicars or romantic boat ride tours via water taxi. The Amphicar (a car that works on land and water!) is a 20 minute water tour of Disney Springs. The Venezia, a breathtaking 40-foot wooden Italian Water Taxi, provides several unique cruises varying in price and length. You can choose from champagne or wine tasting cruises. Tickets are available for purchase for guided tours; please call (407) 939-2628 for more information.

Plus, Harbormaster festivities take place throughout the day and evening. You can experience flag ceremonies and lively musical performances of beloved bugle songs. Inside, you can also enjoy live entertainment featuring a variety of musical styles.

You will not be disappointed with the menu options available here at The Boathouse! With options such as Cedar Planked Puget Sound Salmon or Broiled Atlantic Swordfish Steak, you will satisfy ANY fishy whim! Maybe steaks or chops are on your menu for the evening! Then you will want try the Filet Mignon (12 ounce) or the NY Steak & Fries (8 ounce). No worries, you can always add on a steamed whole Maine lobster!

Lots of items are “shareable”, such as the W.R. Chicago Cut Ribeye (22 oz) For Two or the Original Lobster Bake for Two. We highly recommend the steak here. We think it is one of the best steaks offered on property.

I hope you saved room for dessert. With such delicacies as the Whiskey Caramel Cornbread Cake and the S’mores Baked Alaska (Serves Four), you won’t be disappointed! When they say these items are big enough for four, think more like 8. The Baked Alaska is gorgeous and HUGE.
